Celebrating the Liturgy is one of the core components of our Catholic faith, and we always want that experience to be vibrant, alive, and full of community participation.
With our current numbers in Mass attendance, it is necessary to make some schedule changes to ensure that vibrancy and participation grow. These schedule changes will allow us to have more liturgical and musical ministers available. Plus our new pastor will be able to preach to and greet all parishioners every weekend and build the pastorate community.
The lay leadership has discerned a new Mass schedule to include worship at both campuses:
- Saturday Vigil at 4:30 pm at the Sacred Heart of Mary campus.
- Sunday morning Mass at 9:00 am at the Sacred Heart of Mary campus.
- Sunday morning Mass at 11:15 am at the St. Rita campus.
- All confession times will remain the same at both campuses.
We thank you for your understanding as we make these adjustments to the Mass schedule, which will go into effect Labor Day weekend, September 2nd, and 3rd. This decision was not an easy one and was made with much prayer and discernment. We believe this is a step forward, as together we strengthen and revitalize our pastorate.
Thank you,
