Our current topic in Adult Faith Formation is the history of the Catholic Church. We will talk about our history from the time of Jesus until the present, including: Was Jesus Catholic? When did the Church begin to be Christian? What was the early Church like and how did it survive? What is the Apostolic Tradition? How did the sacraments come about? Who are the Church fathers? Why are they called such? When did other denominations come to be and why? What still remains of the early Church Traditions? What’s changed?
