Home town is in Manville, New Jersey, where Sacred Heart of Jesus parochial school and Manville public high school were attended. A 1987 graduate from Upsala College (East Orange, NJ), with a major in accounting, I worked for eleven years in the accounting field, with the last six years having my own accounting practice. I joined the Redemptorists in January 1999, and was ordained a priest at the Immaculate Conception Basilica in Washington, D.C., on May 6, 2006. My first assignment was at St. Martin of Tours in Bethpage, NY, where I became the Director of Religious Education for a program of over 1,400 students (a crash course on family issues!). Next, I became pastor at St. Gerard’s parish in Lima, Ohio, where we turned a failing school around (we ended up building a new school wing with 8 additional classrooms!). Before coming here to Baltimore, I was stationed at Our Mother of Perpetual Help parish in Ephrata, PA, where I was School Chaplain and Director of Religious Education.
I pray God will use my preaching (known as the “prop” priest for my use of props), my over 30 years of religious teaching and my financial background: to help sustain and grow the community at Sacred Heart of Mary and St. Rita parishes! I’m happy
